Traci’s Top Five Places to Elope during the Summer
If you are thinking of eloping during the summer, anytime between June 20 and September 20th, I want to share with you my top five places to elope during the season! As you know, I am based in Arizona and I can assure you that it is not an ideal place to elope during the summer with temperatures ranging from 95-115 throughout the state. Last summer I spent almost all of my time split between the Colorado, Pacific Northwest and Iceland explore possible elopement locations and trails. The summer is a magical time to elope, but it can be also a busy season to elope with everyone being out of school and taking vacations. A lot of these locations have been considered with the idea in mind that you two want privacy for your vow ceremony together and a place to enjoy the day. The best way to get privacy no matter what when eloping is to elope on a weekday and sunrise over sunset is a good idea too! Mt Rainier National Park - Washington
Mount Rainier is one of those mountains that will just captivate you. Here you can elope by the stunning blooming meadows or up by the glaciers. The park has so many stunning places to elope, but if you want check out the top trails in the park for elopements. The park itself isn’t that far from Seattle, making it easy to get to and with great perks to make a whole trip of it. Iceland
I know you’re thinking……’Traci, that is an entire country!!!’ Well truly the entire place is unreal. This is the top of the top for a two day elopement experience. There are so many beautiful coastal lines, hot springs, mountains and more to explore together. There are so many crazy stunning places where you can be the only people there to elope and in the summer sunset last for hours!!!! Iceland can be very touristy, but if you go to places later in the night most times there will be no one there, or you can go to more epic local spots on weekdays!! If you want to get to super remote spots be sure to rent a off road vehicle to get to even more incredible places.
The Oregon Coast
Familiar with Cannon Beach?? This area in Oregon is a super popular elopement location with cute places to stay, have coffee, have dinner, hike and explore. The entire Oregon Coast though has so many pull offs and state parks to explore that are perfect for a summer elopement. Just a few options outside of Cannon Beach would be Ecola State Park, Harris Beach State Park, Hug Pointe and the Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor. With so many options you are bound to find a spot perfect for you two that offers those sandy, rocky beaches with unreal sunsets <3

Olympic National Park - Washington Coast
The National Park that just keeps giving…. from insane coastal views to stunning mountains and magical rain forests. You can have your pick or choose all three ecosystems to share your day. Looking for a place that can also accommodate a great stay or space for small gathering with friends after? Check out on Airbnb some of the beautiful A-Frame cabins available for rent in the area. Just like Mt Rainier, this park is not far from Seattle and you can drive there or take a fairy over. This park will give you those Pacific Northwest fairy tale vibes, for sure!
Denali National Park - Alaska
Imagine flying to a glacier and saying I Do in the wilderness of a stunning mountain range. Denali will give you privacy, views and an incredible experience. Coming from anywhere else in the United States this will for sure be one of the coolest places you can elope during the summer. Alaska itself is for sure a surreal, peaceful place to spend your elopement day and possibly your honeymoon. To me Alaska is Iceland meets the United states! I highly recommend working with Fly Denali to plan your elopement in Denali if you want to fly into your remote location rather than hiking throughout the park.
